Community Education: Shade Perennials - Varieties, Planting, Propagating

An Anoka County Master Gardener with six years of experience and maintains an at-home acre of landscape in partial to full shade will be hosting this class as part of the Centennial School District 12, 2025 Fall Education Program

Participants will gain a better understanding of "shade," the wide variety of plants that will grow in shade (other than Hostas!), sources for shade plants, planting tips for success, and how to propagate. Plants covered include sedges, Blood Root, Wood Iris, Meadow Rue, Ginger, Sedums, Pachysandra and many more.
